"Across 4 studies, the authors found that participants scoring in the bottom quartile on tests of humor, grammar, and logic grossly overestimated their test performance and ability. Although their test scores put them in the 12th percentile, they estimated themselves to be in the 62nd."
(These people have clearly heard about Garrison Keillor's mythical town, where ALL the kids are above average.)
But I digress. My humor, grammar and logic are pretty good, especially compared to other folks on these boards. And it's not JUST my opinion on that.
And, guess what? I CAN admit I'm wrong, as opposed to you and, well, no sense going into names, but many of the posters here. An exception to that is T. B., who can and will admit it on occasion, too.
So, my friend, keep trying. There is a pathology in here, there's a pathology for most of us "boarders", and you didn't find it with this one. Clue: "Knowing without learning" is a symptom of some of the more obvious pathology, that of the fetus, and others of the juvenile variety. Some seem to be older, but still juvenile.
Arf (Wonder if he'd care to know what the pathology for peddlers of hate is? Nope, I doubt it.)
