Anyone who knows me knows I dont like picking on folks. Feedback and all - it always sets unfortunate chains of future events in motion.

I disagree with the big friendly mutt interpretation - I would say he has the temperament of a Siamese cat, getting into trouble because he enjoys it.

Serious posting with the guy is almost impossible. He avoids substantive posts like the plague. He likes to bicker. We all do somewhat ;-) - but that need is transcended by the ability to make a sincere effort to communicate views.

The post about stepping on some poor fellow's skull leaves one with a pretty poor impression. I do know folks who talk that way - they carry a chip on their shoulder and love to be combative. They are not the big friendly mutts - they are the medium-sized, insecure, extra-barking, obnoxious ones leaving their mark on every tree and every bush wherever they go.

He's clearly here for himself - otherwise we would see a closer bond between Lindy, Robert, Rob, Mary Anne, Splinx, Fox, Alcaray, Tony etc...they post less as he follows Tom's posts with a predictably contrarian post, whatever the issue. That points to a certain personality type - one usually found in chat rooms. (where honesty and civility are dealt with fast and loose - a reason why I avoid them)

The right and left despite anyone's claims to the contrary are friends here - I can have an equally deep discussion of views and ideas with all of the aforementioned and know they are very sincere about their beliefs. They are all to the last one much more civil in their posting skills even while disagreeing - which encourages a real give and take iunstead of a namecalling contest.

You're right, of course, everyone should lay off Bowser.

It saddens me that my own interactions with him leave me not a very vocal proponent of such a course of action.
