I recommend you take a good, hard look at the people currently calling the shots in the American Left, including politicians, media leaders, Hollywood types, and university professors. The only reason leftist politicians pay any attention to the middle class is for the votes, and they lie like a rug to pretend that they like the Flyover People. The others, who don't need the votes, allow their contempt for middle-class values to ooze out of every pore.

Again, for the fiftieth time, don't confuse the motivations of the leaders of a political movement with those of Joe down the road who just happens to vote Democratic.
