I never called exobiology a "bogus science".
Goldin's career is (was?) as I stated. I was surprised to learn at the symposium of his work on Viking, and had not known about it before.
You can see some (but not all) of the manned Mars studies from Lewis which Goldin worked over at D.F. Portree's internet site. I seem to remember that all of them were published by the B.I.S. several years back, and particularly recall one design which had 3 spokes or wires connecting its compartments -
