First off, you dig up Fred's articles in the JBIS (Journal of the British Interplanetary Society) and read them. If I remember right, there were 2 of them to start with, and reader interest was so intense that Fred did a third one for them...
Then ya get your b*tt on a plane and fly to Cleveland, for a visit to the NASA history office at Glenn. You have to remember that Goldin was a very, very junior engineer on this stuff, so that's probably the only place where you'll find docments that mention him, or perhaps even some of his working papers.
Then ya fly back home, and build me a copy of this model for my desk, and then send it to me...
