Now we have the socialist atheists secular humanists doing the same thing.
I'm in favor of letting each individual decide on their own what they believe the truth is, however many people are afraid to let people decide for themselves lest they come to a conclusion they personally don't aggree with.
Such fear is unbecoming.
You can't prove that life sprang from lifeless matter without any intelligence behind the process. You wern't there, Neither was I, so your guess isn't any better than anybody elses.
I have my reasons for believing in creationism and I want future generations to be able to decide if they share my view point as much as anybody else, but the little Hitlers want to silence everybody they don't aggree with.
Evolution is a faith just as much as any religion is, you believe it because you want to believe it

Not so.
Evolution is a testable and falsifyable claim. It has stood the test of time. When 1st proposed, there was no conceivable underlying mechanism to explain HOW it worked. This justifyably caused some concern. Viola! DNA structure got discovered 100 years later & now we know how information is transmitted and modified.
Religion is not a testable and falsifyable claim. You do not need to be an athiest to accept evolution. Conservative bastions like The Church of Rome do not oppose evolution.
-philw (maybe the pope is a secular humanist nazi?)
