A Greenhouse for Devon Island?

Hi Mark

Hey, first a minor name typo..it's Marc Boucher...

I doubt a Greenhouse on Devon Island is a great idea. You will have a very short growing season, if you plan on having people there during it. This focus on hardware in the Arctic Circle seems a lot like school districts here interest in picking up on the latest technologies. They don't also pickup on experts to operate or train people on the stuff and in the end they gather dust or never reach there full use in the classrooms.

BTW, Buildings left at Devon Island in the Canadian Arctic must also be available to hunters during winter. This opens any greenhouse to accidental damage and vandalism during winter.

I would then agree in part with Keith...they are doing new an improved mistakes. Unfortunately, laid over the top of the Mars Society's own.
