Show me a single climate computer model that can accurately reflect what has happened in the past, say 100 years. If you can't do that, then why would you believe the models have any validity at predicting what will happen in the next 100 years? That's about as simple as I can put it - before a model's predictions can be accepted as valid, it has to prove its accuracy. It doesn't need to be 100% accurate but none that I've read about have even come close. Only an idiot would accept the predictions under those circumstances. Validation against known conditions is essential for any model to be accepted regardless of whether you're talking about climate or computational fluid dynamics. Without validation, the model is nothing more than a SWAG.
