More On The Listserve Impact Expert

What really tickles me about Peiser besides his willingness to jump in as an expert on any impact issue without reference to people who have contributed far more technically to the issue, is that computer models are fine as long as they simulate the effects of impacts. He even seems to think he can claim to be doing research simply by running models others have developed. Without any evidence he understood how the program works he seems to think he is fit to judge the accuracy other's modeling efforts.

No EP, I am not impressed with Mr Peiser's opinions on climate models or global warming theory in general. The many gleeful offerings of anti-GW information I have seen him post have never included any insightful commentary to indicate his understanding any deeper (and possibly not as deep) as your average scientifically literate person.
