That's Still No Excuse
Everyone should feel free to reject a solution they feel is poor. However, it is not wise to ignore a problem because you don't like any solutions you've seen. This is the approach the Rebublicans seem to take while the Democrat's walk around with tunnel vision focused on one possible solution. They should all grow up, admit legitimate concerns on both sides and compromise enough to move forward on multiple fronts to assure some kind of solution is found.
