While industrial acitivity in much of the world pollutes far less per unit of produciton than the 1960's
There is a a lot more industrial production and activity than the 1960's.
Also, nations like China certinly pollute 1960's style.
While I do believe that the idea of human industrial activity is changing world climate is a dubious claim at best, it is good to hold the argument to high standards, unlike the enviro-extremists.
