picking nots

<Remember, Israel was not the Jewish homeland either until Moses (or his heirs, to be technical about it) moved the Jews into it.

Just picking nits here, but Isreal (the one with 12 sons) lived in what we now call Isreal. Isreal's sons sold Joseph (another of Isreal's sons) to a caravan who sold him to the egyptians. Then there was the whole deal with Potipher's wife, prison, interpreting dreams and suddenly Joseph was second only to Pharoah. If you might recall Joseph interpreted Pharoahs 2 dreams to mean there would be 7 years of plenty, then 7 years of famine. During that 7 years of famine, Egypt was the only place with grain, because Joseph had stored it away for the famine years. Isreal sent his remaining sons to Egypt to buy grain. When Joseph's brothers showed up he played a few tricks on them before bringing them all to Egypt. Then somewhere down the road, Isreals descendants fell out of favor with the Egyptians, and were turned into slaves. Then comes along Moses, who takes them back to "Isreal" where incidently the original Isreal's bones were taken to be buried.

How'd I do E'?
