I demonize Big Oil along with Big Pharma and any other corporation that gets so big it no longer gives a crap what happens to people or economies or governments as long as their bottom line (power and profits) is reached. It used to be we used antitrust laws to tame the beast but the beast can no longer be tamed. Antitrust doesn't really work anyway. Prices went up after AT&T was split. Plus now AT&T is huge again, having swallowed everything up again that it had had to regurgitate, plus a multitude of other companies that started up as competitors. Sheesh.
