I use ATT for my land line, and that's about it. Mostly habit at this point. AT&T is trying to sell me packages involving cell service and internet. My cable company is trying to sell me internet and phone service. Internet companies are trying to sell me phone services and television shows. Satellite TV is trying to sell me phone and internet. Computer companies are trying to sell me TV services. Competition is fierce.
There have never been so many choices for communications and prices, when you think about it, have never been lower for the kinds of things you can do today. I'm old enough to remember when a long distance call was something the family used for emergencies. I talked to my nephew in Japan on Skype for pennies.
