We have to deal with what's before us.
The issue of Government owned oil companies is more complex than that. Governments want to make money, too, particularly if they're run by greedy dictators or would-be dictators. They'll charge every last dime they can to line their coffers. So, talk about a red herring.
Greed is greed wherever you find it and is against the public good.
