I am reading a book called The tunnels of Cu Chi.

It is a book specifically about the tunnel rats and the VC who lived in the tunnels. I don't know how those rats kept going back in.

There is one story about a tunnel rat who was shot in the shoulder while engaging the enemy in a tunnel. He was sent to the hospital in Saigon, but soon went AWOL from the hospital. He reported for duty and begged his CO to send him back into the tunnels.

Bravery like this will be needed if we decide to go into the tunnels. Personally, I'd prefer to drop a nuke down into it, and save tha American lives. Unfortunatly that probably won't happen, and much American blood will be spilled before we are through. I don't give a rat's ass about the casualties of Bin Ladin and his men.
