It sounds like you are suggesting we put them in time out. They'll love that. Many of them might tell you that is part of the problem. They might even find that humiliating.

Before you can apply any discipline, harsh or otherwise the subject must agree to your authority to apply that discipline. Perhaps you don't recall some of the cases where children murder their parents while they sleep.

I agree with you that they need to face consequences but it seems condescending that you suggest that they need adolescent discipline. If they need discipline then let them be treated like the adults they are.

Those that are not with the criminals should start listening to the moderate Islamic leaders. Those that choose to join the criminals should surrender or die. You know as well as I do that we will be very forgiving to any rank and file fighters that lay down their weapons.
