There is NOTHING you or I can do to turn the Tide of Events now.

All we can do is build our fallout shelters (it's hard to do here on a coral bedrock)
and hopefully keep from pissing on our collective shoes).

*** I live on that coral bedrock and can't build those fallout shelters, but you better make your bets that I am going to fight all the negative and selling out that I've been reading in the American media and elsewhere. I am not buying into the hysterics that the media here and elsewhere is 'selling'. It's disgusting at how low people in the media will get in order to 'sell' a story and sell their country in the process. It's not entirely proper reporting, is it.

I really have been in a similar sinkhole that those Afghans are in now. There are Americans that will sell their souls to the devil and they better wake up, yes, Dennis, they better wake up because there is no where else to go if this country falls apart. The US IS the greatest country in the world. So, yes, I'm all for the military being over there now and I hope they give them hell. The people of the free world better hit back hard.

If I read BBS post about how 'we' did this to them, I'm going to puke. The greatest gift this country's laws have given people is that to be creative and innovative. This country has bent over backwards defending and feeding the hungry around the globe. It's NOT OUR FAULT if they have rotten, selfish leaders that keep oppressing their own. Hitler, Sadaam, Castro and now OBL. They did not 'share' their wealth to feed their hungry, instead they armed themselves to the teeth to keep them down. They've messed up this world enough.
