This is America, then. Equality. Responsibility. Opportunity. Let's give everyone an equal chance and let them be responsible for how they seek out opportunity.

Everyone gets a pleasant home in a neighborhood of their choice with a parent who doesn't work and doesn't worry about money. Every kid is nurtured and encouraged to attend school. School, by the way, is paid for as far as he or she wants to go. Along with room, board, tuition, spending money, a car. To whatever school they choose.

After school everyone starts with the same nest egg. No inherited wealth.

Believe it or not, some people don't have all those choices. And can't aspire to them, as they are kept poor and no longer have opportunities.

And some people who complain about others manage to not work themselves. It's a strange world.
