You're missing the point, Buck. The rich don't want to pay any taxes at all.
In fact, they want protectionism, subsidies, government contracts, downright grants, guaranteed markets (and failing that, guaranteed loans. They want corporate welfare; privatized profits and socialized losses.
All that Libertarian bullshit is for the wannabees, the middleclass worker drones who somehow have been conned into thinking they could be entraprawnewers too if it just weren't for them liberal elitists and their media and intellectual allies, and all them black and brown hordes just dying to steal their loot.
