"Moral vacuum?" What do you think, Jody?

Is forcing others to pay for your generosity a "moral virtue?"

Did I miss the verses in the Bible where Jesus tells us to render all unto Caesar so Caesar can give it to those who support him, or those he decides deserve it?

When did "give" become "take?"

"Social contract" and "social goals" are just more of the dozens of euphemisms socialists have invented to whitewash forced wealth redistribution. And it gets worse: the wealth isn't used to actually fix problems. It's used to buy political power. Everybody knows we're not talking paying for "roads" or "ports" here.

A couple more points:

Wealth spent by the government first has to be taken away from the private economy the government is supposedly "helping." So any "wealth multiplier" had better subtract that first. I'm afraid there's no mathematical way to make that come out positive in the end.

"Scare tactic?" The Democrats need to make up for trillion-dollar deficits and ever-increasing spending plans. There is no "little more" or "slight" tax increase that's going to fix that.
