Would it be asking too much for you to flesh out your apparent misgivings about my statement?

As for the DWI story, et al. concerning President Bush. Sure that story made the news, and others too, but note that these items have quietly faded from view with no mob of Democrats constantly waving this Bush family indiscretion or that in front of the national media to the point where it can't be ignored, to the point where the nation's business is held hostage by the kinds of personal foibles and indiscretions found in many families.

We didn't have this kind of media feeding frenzy during Iran-Contra or the S&L crisis, chapters of shame on the national record, but we did have it during the Lewinski affair.

That's the difference, Tom.
