And, I believe you are completely in error. Florida went to Gore. If his brother hadn't been Governor it would have gone to Gore. In a government "of the people, for the people and by the people" the Democrats won.
Now, every good political party should be able to steal an election. The Dems did it in '60, the Reps in 2000. The difference in 2000 is that the Supreme Court became obviously, clearly corrupted, exposed as a biased political animal. That was the true loss in that election - the belief that law rather than politics are at the base of our system.
Now, I believe that, and we'll just have to agree to disagree on this.
