Actually, the more relevant fact is that most consumer groups and environmentalist don't know jack shit about how energy is produced, the economics involved, the science behind it, the laws associated with it, or the technology used to produce it. Those who produce energy for a living do.

I wouldn't invite the Flat Earth Society to a summit on space policy either.
