Hmmm. You're right, I did overreact to his press conference the other night. And while I suspect his visiting the families was less the result of a concern for them than a photo op for him, everyone does that, they are all grandstanding, it's not just an Ashcroft thing.

Be that as it may, they all do it. It wasn't fair for me to comment on that situation. Mine was a cheap shot, probably normal for me but the Board deserves better.

And, he does mix religion with politics, uses his office to enforce his own religious beliefs contrary to law and the will of people. For some of us he's an irritant and the depth of his compassion is a matter of opinion
