Re: Ashcroft opposes murdering women
I thought the emphasis was on the gay angle. Ashcroft has only shown that he recognizes that hate against whole groups of people motivates some killers. To draw the conclusion that he has recognized gay citizens as one of these groups when the targets have been women doesn't make sense to me.
One would assume that he's against killing people in general unless they're strapped to a gurney in a penitentiary.
