I sincerely hope you're joking. If you really believed such absurd nonsense, I'd be shocked!

Everything reported by the Iraqi Kurds, Shiites, and more than 1 million Sunni and other Iraqis living in exile, plus reports by international diplomats and journalists all points to the absolute truth that Saddam is nearly universally despised by all in Iraq, except perhaps a favored few in his hometown of Tigrit, or within his personal guard.

All you have to do to know why is to review the incredibly bloody history of this beast called Saddam Hussein.

Everyone in Iraq lives in deep fear, and in such a brutal police state, with routine summary executions of suspected opponents, it's remarkably easy to get people together to celebrate your birthday. I wouldn't want to be the poor guy who didn't show up for the party!

This monster even had his own son-in-laws killed!!
