Silly Photo Flap

The photo of Bush speaking with Cheney on the phone isn’t even remotely a case of exploiting the national tragedy of the Sep. 11th terrorist attacks.

What would the Democrats prefer that the GOP use, a photo of Bush choking on a pretzel while watching tv with his dogs?

Now if the photo showed Bush at the detention center in Cuba, wearing combat fatigues and army boots, with an American flag in one hand and a machine gun in the other, and with his boot on the neck of a prone Al Queda terrorist, then that might just well qualify as political exploitation of the Sep. 11th attacks…
