Thank you for your comment. It is important to me. (I've been on "hold" for much of the day, it rubs off.)
If I'd have said you were blind and , uh, "special", you would have no doubt been offended. But you can do it, and it's OK. So, rather than take point on the issue, I'll just have to agree with you.
The message had to be read for what it was. First, Tom had posted a complaint a while back complaining about the Democrats raising soft money after pushing through the campaign finance reform bill.
I was trying to point out to Tom that his post regarding GWB raising $33 million didn't mention that he thought it was unfair when the Democrats did it. I was just trying to say that fair should be fair.
The next comment was on what I thought was amusing, our President using a picture of his so-called courageous leadership when actually he was hiding, scurrying around the country, being anywhere but where it was "at". He learned that during the Vietnam war, hiding in an airplane wherever the action wasn't.
I just thought that was amusing.
And the last part was pointing out that right after he signed a bill giving large businesses $180 Billion of yours and my money in subsidies over the next 10 years, all he got was $33 million. I thought that wasn't much, but then, what's he worth?
I know you don't see it, I don't expect you to. I really didn't set out to have asubtle quality to the post. To be honest, you didn't miss much.
Any other substantive questions, other than about my ancestry, that sort of thing, I'd be glad to help you with.
