Don't know where the "logic" is, but my goodness, aren't we bitter this morning?
Don't worry. I'm sure the Dems will come up with a much more useful smear before 2004. Let's not forget that very effective DWI they pulled out of their bag of tricks at the last second in 2002, certainly costing Bush many votes, and I'm sure there are a lot more goodies in there.
I'm concentrating right now on the 2002 elections, which I think are more critical at this point.
How any Democratic politician, or for that matter almost any politician at all, can accuse Bush of impropriety in fund raising without their skulls exploding from sheer hypocricy overload is more than I can figure out. Let's save my typing fingers and not go over in detail the adventures of Al Gore in his fund raising escapades.
