Re: Just an observation...

No coincidence...

Everyone knows its cathartic to get your hands dirty and build up a sweat out in the open. By staying physically active Bush doesn't end up as retentive as many in DC. Even an aching back can be a source of satisfaction.

If you want a real laugh - imagine hairspray stockholders Gephardt and Gray Davis in the same position...

"Oooh a hair fell out of place! Oooh a bug fell in my hair!"

Being in tune with nature does not just mean having a membership to Greenpeace - it means appreciating, caring and enjoying nature as a component of ones life.

Each sunset out here often looks like a master painted it. You can watch hundreds of them and never get bored.
You can wake up at dawn (when its only 88 degrees and clear out the undergrowth, be finished by 7:30 as it enters the 90's, and have built up a good, hard sweat. You can watch the preying mantis crawl along the high grass and the roadrunners walk their powerwalk across the asphalt. Nature is omnipresent and you realize your part of the entire framework.

Bush is fortunately grounded by this - and it will help to give him a more balanced view of the world than many of his political colleagues.
