Here we go again.

"Sept. 7 — Seeking to build a case Saturday that Iraqi President Saddam Hussein was developing weapons of mass destruction, President Bush cited a satellite photograph and a report by the U.N. atomic energy agency as evidence of Iraq’s impending rearmament. But in response to a report by NBC News, a senior administration official acknowledged Saturday night that the U.N. report drew no such conclusion, and a spokesman for the U.N. agency said the photograph had been misinterpreted."

This is always sort of fun, because it's so easy. And clear-cut, no ambiguity.

Bush lied. Sorry, Charlie, he lied. The "proof" he cited was not "proof" or even evidence. Pure propaganda. Pap for the public. Nonsense.

Bush passes gas in public, again, his staff says, "This stinks", and you folks say it smells just fine. Kinda like it, as a matter of fact, because you know it can't smell bad, it came from the Master. (No, BUSH, not RUSH this time. The other Master.)

He did it, they admit it, you deny it. How you do it is beyond me.

Just suck it up. I'm considered liberal, and I can tell you Clinton lied. Went out of his way to lie. See - it doesn't hurt. In fact, it feels good to be connected to reality.

(I wonder what sort of bind you'd be in if Bush said the Sun came up in the West this morning. "Well, maybe it seemed West because he was at Camp David, swallowed a pretzel, and his mind went, well, it's always blank, maybe he got turned around.")

As far as developing nuclear weapons, well, the US has 'em, Britain, France, Israel. Russia has 'em, and rockets, as does China and North Korea. So does Iran, Pakistan, India, South Africa. Some of those people aren't or weren't friends of ours. And some of them aren't or weren't kind to their own citizens. Anyone want to go get them?

Well, using WMD. Reagan and Bush urged the Iraqis to use them, the US is the only country in the world to drop an atomic bomb on people, and the US used chemical warfare in Vietnam, dropping Agent Orange on whoever was down there, including our own folks. To their detriment, I'll add.

Amazing. You have to turn your mind into a pretzel to keep believing they didn't do it when even they admit they did. And you know what a conservative does with a pretzel. Goes right to his head and he passes out. (Another piece of BS, but that one has been covered.)
