Pap for the Public

Thank you Bowser for your biting analysis of Bush's pretzel brain.

War rhetoric.
I think they are using 9/11 and the WMD "scare" to carry out their objectives.
Get into Iraq and shore up the US oil supply out of there.

"Regime change", like it's so easy to do.

Look what's happening in Afganistan.
I saw a special last night on MSNBC on the warlords over there, how they won't allow ANYONE to run their country for them. They'll take anyone's money or weapons, but in the end they'll get their country back. And we'd have to have thousands of peacekeepers over there to have it run the way WE want.

And there was a really good article on Iraq on MSNBCnews.com last night, but try as I may,
I can't find the link anywhere. People In Iraq are comfortable with Hussein. They also dislike the US because of our sanctions since the Gulf War. And now with Bush threatening their very existence, their ambivalence and hatred is growing for us.

And thank you for pointing out Bush lied (no!).
The King of Ram Rod.
He and his Texas cowboy oilmen and energy backers.
They want control, or as much as they can get while they're in power.

This reminds me of a mid-level manager at work, who wants to be top dog, and will stop at NOTHING to expand his power base and influence.
This includes lying, cheating and backstabbing.
You try and expose him, you pay.
He talks a good game, especially when the corporate execs are around.
He's no dummy, just a tad psychopathetic.
Yet he's created so many enemies by manipulating people for his gain, I think finally his time has come. He hasn't covered all his bases, and those he has wronged are beginning to rally together to bring him down.
It's taken awhile. Those that he had peddled influence with and got the perks, they now have their rose-colored glasses taken off.

Hopefully he'll be gone this week.

Let's hope that Bush is coralled BEFORE he starts us on a path that will create instability worldwide. We need to beef up here at home, not go sticking our soldiers in harms' way
for an offensive that may be totally unecessary.

Did anyone see Oliver North interviewed by Phil Donahue on MSNBC the other night?
