Re: Naive . . .

<"US has 'em, Britain, France, Israel. Russia has 'em, and rockets, as does China and North Korea. So does Iran, Pakistan, India, South Africa. Some of those people aren't or weren't friends of ours."

Sadam will work with the radical Muslims and they will wind up nuking a city. Maybe Tel Aviv, maybe New York but it will happen. He will then plead ignorance and swear that he had nothing to do with it. The world community will have given him good reason to believe he can pull it off.

Maybe that will work or maybe it won't but thousands of ours will be dead and the next step will be Armageddon.

There will be no recourse for Armageddon if everyone thinks like you FrankC.

Considering the worst, preparing for the worst, doing something about the worst -- has a far greater potential to prevent the worst, than just sitting on your hands and hoping everything works out. Then again, why is it our business, anyway?

Have you ever considered the “fact” that what a tyrant does in his home community effects his neighbor?

Have you ever considered the “fact” that a tyrant’s neighbor effects his neighbor?

Have you ever considered the “fact” that nuclear arms, anywhere on the face of this little, insignificant globe, effects you?

Have you ever considered whose hands has control over the nuclear weapons of this little, insignificant globe?

* Hitler was ignored (given the capability, would he have used nuclear weapons? [and, yes, I know “we” did -- although I don’t exactly count myself among the “we”])

* Mussolini was ignored (given the capability, would he have used nuclear weapons?)

* Hiro Hito was ignored (given the capability, would he have used nuclear weapons?)

* Mao Tse-tung was ignored (given the capability, would he have used nuclear weapons?)

* Amin was ignored (given the capability, would he have used nuclear weapons?)

* Jones was ignored (my personal number one knut-case)

* Khomeini was ignored (given the capability, would he have used nuclear weapons?)

* bin Laden was ignored (given the capability, would he have used nuclear weapons?)

* Clinton was ignored (a case that seems to be above the law)

* South America is fading from the local newspapers

* much of Africa is ignored today

Keep praying, Lindy -- I'm sure someone appreciates it,
Dan

Why is it that every monkey on this planet seems to think they need the the other monkey's killing-technologies?

Is it for defense -- or offense?
