<Stopping a “group” from speaking (i.e., organization) is not the same as blocking an individual’s right to speak. The “individual” will retain this right, but can only do so without affiliating him-/her-self, or whatever happens to be stated, with any particular organization.
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
If free speech is only restricted to individuals who cannot belong to advocacy groups, then we might as well chuck the whole thing. Or maybe the Declaration of Independence is invalid because more than one person signed it, or to be precise, "The Representatives of the united States of America, in General Congress, Assembled"
If I misinterpreted you, apologies.
