The Supreme Court will kill this law anyway.

Just wait until Rush Limbaugh opens up his golden microphone for a 3hr per day commercial for specific republican candidates who just so happen to phone into his show.

The democrats will have a tizzy fit and there will be calls from the left that he is being unfair to the democratic opposition and as such his show is in violation of the spirit of the law. The Supreme Court will strike then be forced to strike the law down because you can't stop someone with a radio show from promoting a favorite candidate...

At what point does having a guest on your show become special interest promotion of a certain candidate(s)?

Saying talk show hosts can't have certain guests would violate their 1st amendment rights of association and free speech.
