Kosovo
I was opposed to our intervention in Kosovo because it was strictly a European problem. One the one hand, they tell us we aren't the world's policemen but then they come crying to us to clean up their messes because they lack the guts and ability to do the dirty work themselves. Back around 1995, Clinton promised that our troops would be out of Bosnia by Christmas. He never said of what year because the troops are still there. Many Republicans in Congress opposed sending the military going into another open-ended commitment in the Balkans. Under the War Powers Act, they're allowed to do that.
