Bush (41) did send troops into Somalia around December 1992 to stop the warlords and bandits from stopping the food supply to the starving people. That mission was accomplished in a matter of weeks. It was Clinton who expanded the mission to nation building (with our hands tied behind our backs) that led to "Blackhawk Down."
