And it will backfire and turnout will be heavier than normal for off-year elections...

Republicans will be in control of the Senate on November 6th as Carnahan will lose in Missouri, but Republicans will not be in control when the New Senate is swore in unless the Minnesota Democrats appoint a bumbling idiot to run in Wellstone's place.

The House will stay safely in Republican hands.
