Question: Except for absentee ballots

...and a variation of absentee ballot in which one knows one will probably be physically incapacitated (e.g., under anesthesia, in labor) on Election Day, I'm not aware of any conditions that allow for voting by appointment.

Is there a statute where you live that makes a more liberal allowance for voter access than those conditions?
