That's the great thing about being a conservative. You are either called a racist flat out or insinuated as such whenever you mention someone's racial background.

The obvious racism of assuming that all disgruntled shooters are white male gun nuts is lost on the left, who assume this is just the honest truth.

Flores party affiliation is not known to me - but statistically speaking, he is likely to be a democrat, just as was the sniper, Muhammed.

It is not racist to assume a particular race is more often affiliated with a particular party.

One can insult my intelligence and yours by assuming statistics mean nothing and must be ignored, but a recent article confirms my assumptions:

The survey, sponsored by the Pew Hispanic Center and the Kaiser Family Foundation, included 1,329 Hispanic voters and was taken between April 4 and June 11. Clearly the democrat party is free to utilize race statistics - in fact obsessing about race as they pander to every racial demographic they can. No one accuses the DNC of being racist though - even when they are assuming the exact same things I did in my post.

With some more time I could probably find out Flores party affiliation, if any, in Texas and Arizona, but it's beside the point - the point being that the media uses race to club white males over the head as often as possible - and when someone from another race commits a crime (which statistically is more likely - don't make me crack out the prison population statistics) the media bends over backwards to justify, omit or minimize it.

Look at both of the articles Larry posted links to the AP article and the CBS article - everyone is addressed by their name except the killer who is just a "flunking student". His name is conveniently omitted.

As I watched this story unfold, and it is covered here in Arizona quite a bit, I watched how seldom the photo of the killer was shown and how often the student's name was omitted from stories covering the killings. The media has clearly been burying his race.

So in other words - if you read my post again - you will see I am charging the media of being racist, anti-gun and anti-caucasion - of clearly attempting to propagate the stereotype of the crazed, white male, gun-nut, psycho-killer, whenever they can.

Politically, this is done so as to portray republicans as the party of violence and gun killers - which is part of the mythology the democrats have tried to wrap the GOP in - when in truth the reverse is true - more violent gun crimes are perpetrated by those who identify themselves as democrats.

You can try and size me with a white cloak and hood, it's been tried a number of times before - but it's a mighty poor fit.
