I just pointed out that you're prejudiced, i.e., that you have a "preconceived judgment or opinion", according to Webster's. You can hardly dispute that your post is based entirely on preconceived judgments, about Hispanics, gun owners, the NRA, Democrats and Republicans, nurses, the media...

Well that's my point exactly...the media uses preconceived judgments and feeds them by omitting details, photos, names as is necessary to weaken or strengthen an agenda. This thread is about the media and the way it stretches the truth, omits names as convenient, etc. The CBS title "NRA rally angers some" is a farce - three protesters show up. However, the media didn't want to write an article "Hundreds of gun enthusiasts show up at rally, eager to hear Charlton Heston." As Dan Rather in his exalted egocentric manner would say, "That's not news."

Do you see the twist? Everyday when one is on the right one watches these twists, negative slants to further the liberal agenda - and it gets tiring.


All that other stuff about how Democrats do it more--the "two wrongs make a right" defense doesn't wash with me. I thought you Rightists consider yourselves a superior strain of homo sapiens? Don't blame me if I hold you to the standards you (claim to) set for yourselves.

You really believe that? I pointed out that the left wants to paint the right as a bunch of violent killers. They used the Flores killings in Tucson to denigrate Charlton Heston and NRA members! Murders I point out are likely committed by a democrat. Why were they concealing the killer's name. Because if they name him it wrecks havoc with their clear subliminal message: The NRA, the GOP and Charlton Heston are really responsible for the deaths in Tucson!

All this dancing around about prejudice is preposterous - the media is clearly trying to incite anti-NRA, anti Charlton Heston and anti-GOP sentiment by magnifying and distorting the truth!

It's quite simple. The media is prejudiced! Larry caught CBS in a bold faced lie - a blatant misrepresentation of the facts - and here it's turned by the left into a referendum on the right's prejudice!

I don't blame you and Mary Anne - you've been conditioned to defend the media as the bastion of decency and equality for the oppressed and fighter of those most evil of monsters: conservatives.


You can try and size me with a white cloak and hood, it's been tried a number of times before - but it's a mighty poor fit.

Well...if one has the audacity to call a spade a spade and point out that almost 95% all convicted violent killers, rapists, perverts, child molesters, bank robbers, etc...are democrats you're bound to get a pretty violent response.

Or for example if you have the gall to point out the incarceration rates of blacks to whites you are even more likely to be called racist. Facts are racist! Especially when you start to link all these evil statistics and facts together (how could you!) and realize that more democrats = more crime, more violence, more poverty!

I can hear it now....

"Aiighh! Shut up you evil racist! Democrats and liberals are the enlightened ones, the exalted, compassionate ones! Do not dare reveal the most horrible secret we successfully conceal from the non-thinking public!"
