Current Events » in reply to Dead or Alive, the real question is his guilt

Re: And your life would be worth 2 cents . . .

<Who knows, but I think if he were dead, then somebody would step forward to claim the reward. Perhaps someone has and we just haven't heard about it, but no matter.

Of course it doesn't matter:

* that the first POC would be media, not the nasty, ol’ info-burying CIA/FBI
* that public knowledge of a collector on the bin Laden bounty would mark the person and family as a #1 hit for al-Qai'da, al-Qai'da sympathizers, and terror organizations (local and global) in general (1 + 1 = dead pigeon)

What does matter vis-a-vis Osama bin Laden is verification of his guilt, complicity or involvement in the horrific events of September 11, 2001.

To this point, I have seen no convincing evidence - indeed hardly any evidence at all beyond questionable hearsay - tying Osama bin Laden to Black Tuesday.

Ability, motive, and admission of guilt are useless to the conspiracy theorist.

Why do you wish to give terror an even break? All are guilty, if not in deed, then clearly in support, clearly in want, clearly in threat, and clearly in compliance.

That is good enough.

Al-Qai’da has seen fit, over the past 10 years, to declare war upon all Western civilization. We would be remiss to not reciprocate.

Defend the Mafia someplace else, sp. It don't wash here.

That is the real issue here - not Mr. bin Laden's continued existence, but his guilt in these events.

That was nowhere in the article, so the real issue is whether he is alive or not, and the article states.

While we're waiting for that - and I'm not holding my breath - we are also still waiting for some rationale tying the proposed attack on Iraq to the events of 911.

That is not the issue either.

the issue with Iraq is non-compliance with United Nations resolutions for more than 10 years, and the likelihood of Iraq's potential to sell/give WMD to international terror organizations, whose sole purpose is to kill any and all from any and all Western countries.
