The Democrats seem to think that African Americans can not succeed without their help. That was the whole point of SDAI-Tech1.

I think initially, the Democrats wanted to help African Americans, but then they saw they could ‘buy’ votes that way. Now the Democrats have such a hold on them, any African American that does not conform to their pressure, and joins or votes for the Republican party, is chastised and told they are not a true African American. Colin Powel, a great man, has been told his is not a real African American. What does that mean? Can’t an African American have the freedom to do what they want? Why are they trying to squeeze every African American into one mold? Why do they think African Americans can not think for themselves?

African Americans have been here along with the Whites since this country was founded. They are as much apart of American’s history as the Whites are. This is as much their country as it is the Whites. They can succeed in American, and millions do, without handouts.

If someone treated me the way the Democrats look down on African American, I would be offended. The Republicans are not perfect and they too have a lot of flaws, but when it comes to race, today’s Republican party looks a person’s merit, not their race.

I personally would like to see us all become Americans and drop this whole silly race thing. But it’s a two-edge sword. It doesn’t do much good for one side to drop it when the other side keeps bringing it up.
