If I ever get food poisoning, it would be at a restaurant. Not likely anymore at fast food joints, which cook the living hell out of their burgers now. A hockey puck, but a SAFE hockey puck. At home, I treat everything like it's crawling with germs before its cooked. Has not made me popular with my family, which are cookie dough eaters and batter lickers, but I mollify them with either pasteurized store-bought dough, or things made with pasteurized egg substitutes.
I like shrimp, and don't really care what they eat. If I started thinking about the diets of the critters I eat, well, ewww. I used to watch my grandpa feeding slops to the pigs.
Besides ANYTHING in the ocean eats fish excrement. I get a hoot out of environmentalists that screech about sewage trickling into the ocean, when even as they speak, about two trillion fish are crapping in it.
