Well if your memory only goes back that far and no further...
...then sure, a lot of it (not all, I think) is the Arab's fault.
On the other hand if you go back to the end of WWI and the Balfour declaration you find a mostly Arab population completely stunned by the boatloads of Jewish settlers flooding the Holy Land. The Jews invaded first. And they have not been content to live side-by-side with the Arabs. They have consistantly pushed the Arabs out. There may not be enough generations left to get over the hate this has caused.
