Settlers "pushing" Arabs out? As I recall, many Jewish settlers originally bought the land, but I suppose that's just nitpicking.

As for living "side-by-side," I recommend comparing the number of Arab citizens of Israel with the number of Jewish citizens of pretty much any Arab nation you could select at random, most of which expelled their Jewish citizens. There are Arabs in the Israeli government. Find me a Jew in the government of any Arab nation.

If the Arabs had not attempted to exterminate Israel, the land demanded by the Palestinians right now would still belong to Jordan, and they would be negotiating a separate state with Jordan, Jordan would be telling them to jump in the lake, and no one else in the world would be giving a rat's ass.

Regardless of the Left's twisting around like an angleworm on a hot plate to avoid it, and create some kind of "equivalence," this is all about extermination of Israel and the Jews in the Middle East. Period. And it always was.
