I'm not sure what the heck a "deflective argument" is, but in your post you specifically called the Jews coming into the Middle East an "invasion." I responded that much of the original Jewish settlement up until 1947 was on property purchased freely from the Arabs and other landowners, often lousy land at ruinous prices. Isn't this relevant to whether or not this was an "invasion" that forced Arabs off their land?

You said they have not been content to live side-by-side with the Arabs. I replied that Israel treats Arabs in its own country orders of magnitude better that Jews are being treated in ANY Arab country. As for being "content to live side-by-side," it wasn't the Israelis that started three wars of extermination to wipe out their neighbor.
