Someone else said it, too. I had the "conventional" view of the Israeli-Arab conflict until I got involved in this board and had to research it.
If one takes the information as presented to the US for the last 55 years, one winds up with the standard view. After all, the US news is effective censored, with the ROW getting more information.
If one researches the conflict, goes back a ways, it becomes obvious the standard view is not at all complete. It's understandable that folks would believe it, though, if they relied upon the US press for their information.
I did the same thing with the POW-MIA issue in Southeast Asia and Korea, as well as homeopathy. If a significant number of people believe something, there may be some truth. I couldn't believe we'd leave people, couldn't believe homeopathy was effective.
Well, the US did knowingly leave live POWs behind in both Southeast Asia and Korea. And homeopathy is a crock.
And Israel isn't anywhere close to the innocent victim the US press has been forced to portray.
