A tally of the number of people killed by Christian extremists over the past twenty years vs. killed by Muslim extremists might be instructive.
Muslim religious governments--GOVERNMENTS, not nut cases working out of a basement--have put out death threats on people like Salman Rushdie who rubbed them the wrong way with his opinions. When was the last time the Vatican put a hit out on someone? This century, at least.
It is much more reasonable to be worried about Muslim extremists doing you violence for offending their religion than Christian extremists.
When the Taliban and other Muslim extremist movements join the Crusades in history's dustbin, we'll all be a lot better off.
